Electric Goddess 8-Inch Brushless Cordless Chainsaw for DeWalt 18V
Our Verdict
I recently tested the Electric Goddess Brushless 8in Wood Chain Saw to see if it could handle standard backyard trimming tasks. By utilizing existing DeWalt battery systems, this tool promises a streamlined approach to wood cutting without the hassle of gas or cords.
Performance & Build Quality
The brushless motor is the standout feature here, providing consistent torque that makes for smooth, precise cuts. The 8-inch design feels sturdy in the hand and is clearly built for portability rather than heavy-duty logging. Its durable construction holds up well against the vibration of repeated use.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setup is incredibly straightforward, provided you already own the necessary DeWalt battery, which is not included in the box. The lightweight design meant I could maneuver it into tight spaces in my garden with minimal fatigue. It is a user-friendly tool that requires very little maintenance beyond standard chain care.
This saw is perfect for homeowners and DIYers who are already invested in the DeWalt battery ecosystem and need a compact tool for light woodcutting.
Final Thoughts
The Electric Goddess chainsaw is a reliable performer that earns its 4.5/5 rating by delivering exactly what it promises. At $99, it is an efficient investment for anyone looking to simplify their yard work with a portable, cordless saw.
